Model NATO

Flag of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization
Model NATO simulates the activities of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), a trans-Atlantic military alliance of 28 Western states in North America and Europe. This team provides students the opportunity to study the structure and role of NATO and its Partner states in the global security arena, while gaining an understanding of the various political and economic issues faced by the Alliance in today's world. Students will become familiar with the cooperative process in which NATO member states collaborate to achieve consensus on matters of collective defense and security.
